HAPPY INTERNATIONAL CHILDREN’S DAY!

International Children’s Day is a commemorative date celebrated annually in honor of children, whose date of observance varies by country. In 1925, International Children’s Day was first proclaimed in Geneva during the World Conference on Child Welfare. Since 1950, it is celebrated on June 1st in most Communist and post-Communist countries.

International Children’s Day on June 1st has long been known as the New Year’s Day dedicated to children. This is an opportunity for children to have fun and receive meaningful gifts from loved ones. Parents also take this opportunity to express their boundless love for their children through wishes and gifts.

The International Children’s Day also is a perfect time to reflect on these precious gifts that God has given to mankind. Children are the future of tomorrow. The things they learn today will help them grow into responsible individuals and help shape the nation too.
